Join an open match

First, your level

Each open match is reserved for a level range. Until you've assessed yours, you can join any of them, but your partners see you at 0: the app suggests doing it wherever matches are listed, with the Assess my level button. You can also tap Start under Complete the level questionnaire on your dashboard: seven questions, two minutes.

Find a match

• The Join tab lists the open matches at your favorite clubs, or at all clubs if you have none. Filter by club and by period (Today, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days), and turn on My level to hide the matches outside your range.
• The Book tab also shows open matches among the time slots, marked Open match with the number of players signed up.
• Your dashboard suggests the next open match at your level.
• A link you receive (WhatsApp, text message, invitation email) opens the match directly, after you sign in if needed.

Each match shows the date and time, the club, the court, the duration, the players already signed up with their level, and your share. A struck-through share means a discount: the match is coming up soon and isn't full yet.

Take a spot

   Tap Join on the match.

   Choose your side and your spot.

   The four spots are split into two teams. Tap Take it on a free spot, next to the player you want to play with. Spot 1 belongs to the player who created the match.

   Read the info box: the required level, and how your share will be paid.

   If the club takes payment online, choose Club credit or Bank card.

   Tap Confirm, which shows the amount.

   With a card, enter it in the Stripe window and tap Pay. The match shows up right away in My Matches.

Pay your share

• Online: your share is authorized when you join, then charged at the same time as everyone else's, shortly before the match. If the match isn't full at that point, it's canceled and nothing is charged.
• At the front desk: nothing is charged online, you pay your share at the club.
• Club credit: it is deducted right away, and given back as credit if the match is canceled.

Drop out

   Open My Matches, Upcoming tab, and tap Cancel under the match.

   Read what will happen, then confirm.

• Before the charge time, it's free: Cancel my spot releases your authorization, and your spot is offered to other players again.
• After, Release my spot gives up your spot, but your share isn't refunded.

The match goes on without you: the other players keep their spots.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a match grayed out as “Incompatible level”?

Your level is outside the range chosen by the player who created the match. You can't join it. This doesn't happen while your level hasn't been assessed.

What happens if the match doesn't fill up?

It's canceled automatically at the charge time. Nothing is charged, and each player gets an email.

Can I join with a friend?

Yes, each with your own account: join one after the other and take two spots on the same team.

I don't have an account. Does the link work?

Yes: it takes you to create your free account, then brings you back to the match once you're signed in.
