How a day template works

  • A day template is an opening time and a series of slots. Each slot has its start time, its length (1 h, 1 h 30 or 2 h) and its price per player. The closing time is calculated for you: it is the end of the last slot.
  • It covers days of the week. Each day belongs to only one day template, and a day with none has no slots on sale.
  • When the club is created, two day templates already exist: one for Monday to Thursday and one for Friday to Sunday.
  • All courts follow the club's day templates, except those you give their own day template (see below).
  • The schedule shows the price of the whole court, which is four times the price per player.

Change the hours and the slots

  1. Open Settings → Day templates and prices, then tap a day template.

  2. Choose the Opening time, in 15-minute steps.

  3. Add slots with + 1 h, + 1 h 30 or + 2 h.

    Each slot goes into the first free space of the day, at the price of the last slot of the same length.

  4. Drag a slot to move it.

    It snaps to 15-minute steps and cannot overlap another slot. A gap between two slots is allowed: it is a break, with nothing to enter.

  5. Tap a slot to change its Duration or its Price per player (0 for a free slot), or to delete it.

  6. Tap Save.

    Until you save, nothing is live: Cancel goes back to the saved version.

Create a day template for other days

Does your Wednesday look different from the rest of the week? Give it its own day template.

  1. In the list of day templates, tap New day template.

  2. Give it a Name, tick its days, then tap Create.

  3. Add its slots and prices, then tap Save.

Schedule a change for a date

A new version of a day template takes effect on the date you choose, without touching the days before then. It is the right way to switch to summer hours or to change your prices on the 1st of the month.

  1. Open the day template and tap the calendar icon, Schedule a new version.

  2. Choose the From date.

    With Until a date, the current version comes back on its own the day after the end date: useful for a season or a holiday period.

  3. Change hours, slots and prices as above.

  4. Check the list of affected bookings, if there are any.

    These are matches already booked on slots that disappear. Choose Keep them as they are (they are played as planned) or Cancel and refund (amounts already paid are returned as club credit).

  5. Tap Schedule.

Only one version can be scheduled at a time. As long as no player has booked on it, you can edit or cancel it from the banner at the top of the day template.

A different court: surcharge or its own day template

A panoramic court that costs more, or a court with different hours? Open Settings → Courts, then the court. Two options, one or the other:

  • A Surcharge: an amount per player added to every slot of the club's day template, on this court. Set it, then save. The court keeps following the club's changes.
  • Its own day template: Give this court its own day template. The court no longer follows the club's changes, and its day template applies to all seven days of the week. It starts from the slots of the club day template that covers the most days: check its hours and prices right away.

To go back: Follow the club day template again. The court drops its own day template and its surcharge goes back to zero.

The settings that go with it

In Settings → Fill-up and card charge, four settings apply to the whole club:

  • Fill-up call (2 to 48 hours before the match): from this point on, an open match that is not yet full offers its remaining spots at a discount, and a player who creates an open match must authorize two shares instead of one.
  • Card charge (1 to 24 hours before the match): the moment when shares paid online are charged. Until then, the player can cancel for free. An open match still incomplete at that moment is cancelled, with nothing charged.
  • Urgent discount: the percentage of the discount above.
  • Booking window (4 to 30 days): how far ahead your players can book. If you take payment online, it is 7 days at most: a card authorization expires after 7 days, before a later booking would be charged. Your desk entries have no such limit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I close the club on a public holiday?

A day template has no exceptions by date. Block the day in the schedule: Block → Whole day, all courts. See the schedule guide.

Can I offer 30-minute slots?

No: a slot lasts 1 h, 1 h 30 or 2 h.

Can I set a price with cents?

No, prices are entered as whole amounts.

What happens to bookings when I change a day template?

They stay as they are: each booking keeps its time, length and price. Only a scheduled new version offers to cancel them, and only if their slot disappears.
